Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market 2026: dates and tips for your stay

Every winter, the grounds of Winchester Cathedral turn into a festive village of wooden chalets, twinkling lights and the smell of mulled wine. The 2026 market is scheduled to run from Friday 20 November to Tuesday 22 December.

It is a popular day out for families and friends, and the city fills up quickly on weekends. Booking a place to stay early means you can enjoy the market without the rush to get home.
